Steven Rudin

Steven Rudin is a visual artist, teacher, and psychiatrist based in New York City. His philosophy, The Psychology of Collage, highlights how the process of cut and paste is relevant to the way we remember, feel, learn, and grow. He holds degrees from Cornell University, Columbia, University, and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. As adjunct faculty at the Art Students League of New York, Rudin leads workshops exploring collage as memoir and the psychology of creativity. He has lectured about his work and taught collage in a variety of settings including the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, the New York Film Academy, and the Clarinda Carnegie Art Museum. His collages have been exhibited internationally in galleries, public spaces, and art fairs in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, and Cannes.
